This project is part of a collaboration between Lane Tech Computer Science students and Array of Things. The team on this project decided to measure the presence of methane gas, pressure and temperature over the span of a week using two sensors on Lane Tech's second floor. The goal of the project is to see if any correlations or interesting trends can be found within our data or when compared to data collected by other groups. Methane in particular was chosen because our school was built on a landfill, and structures on landfills often have a higher concentration of methane in the air than others. The project is modeled after how the Array of Things team collects data across Chicago.
