I created a Smart plant watering system using three different types of sensors; Air quality, Dust sensor, and soil read sensor. A water pump is hooked up to an optocoupled relay to convert 3.3v to 5v so that the pump would operate successfully. The circuit board has an OLED and BME displaying the temperature, humidity, and moisture level of the soil, and when the soil sensor reads any number above 2500 it knows to automatically water the plant. If it reads any number below 2500 the pump knows to not send any more water to the plant. From the Argon there is a PNP transistor acting as an amplifier that boosts the signal and voltage for the relay to get enough power. I am publishing and displaying all the different data feeds to Adafruit showing a live feed of the temperature, humidity, air quality in the room, also a current moisture reading of the soil. I also added a button to the dashboard so that I can manually water the plant if the sensor ever decides to stop working.
