The project that we are going to build is a home security alarm. The idea behind this project is to give households extra security feature to their properties. By using ultrasonic ranging sensor, this system will be able to detect any motion with distance of 400 cm. This system consists of two particle photons with wireless signal capability to be able to communicate with the internet. The first photon will be attached with ultrasonic sensor as well as the power supply. This circuit can be mounted in any important area outside the house. The other photon will have a buzzer that give the user alert for any suspicious movement outside the house. This buzzer can be power inside the house. When the ultrasonic sensor detect any motion, the other photon will receive a signal and activate the buzzer.
As shown in the next pictures, the ultrasonic sensor, which is connected to the first photon, is placed at the front of my house. In addition, as soon as anyone comes by this sensor. The photon sends a signal to the other photon which is connected to the buzzer as seen in the below video.

This video illustrates a theoretical trial when somebody gets close to my house. The sensor which is placed at the front of my house detect any motion and sends a signal to the other photon that is connected to the buzzer. This will make the buzzer beep and also will send me a notification that can be set up as a SMS, email or an application notification.
